Rogers Pass Feb 21-22 2008
Ya I can't believe it either the Rogers pass is sunny. We skied in t-shirts and worked on our tans Yes "Honey bronze and VERY VERY desirable"
We skied the Tupper traverse and had just a great day the travel was easy as long as your skins did not ball up to much. Skiing down the south slope to the road was some terrible sun crust and some very dangerous skiing so we pick out way down. Well after a good day we had to complete the trip with a hitch hike back to the car. Ross was keen and stepped out on to the road we had a slow start but with in a few minutes he scored a ride and pick up the KIA.
Day 2 We skied up the Illecillewaet Glacier and made it just below the Lookout peak. We had a great day of more fun in the sun. The travel was good and we were excited to be out. The views were great and the skiing was lots of fun

Walk up Commonwealth Creek Feb 20 2008
What a great day for a walk up commonwealth creek. It was sunny and beautiful O’ya and hot!
We just spent some time digging pits and hanging out, the skiing would have been not so good and the sun exposure was huge.
One thing we did see was a lot of recent avalanche activity and that had also made us take it easy. I have posted some BOLD lines that people have skinned up and skied recently, I thought that it was a bit crazy some people might feel that is ok.
I do not want to come across as a know it all, but may be I am just a little more conservative when the avalanche condition are not that great.
Play safe out there what ever you choose to do.

ARTIC CANMORE!
At this temperature, looks don't matter. Of course I am the only one not looking good, Chad is ripping out some great telemark turns.
We had a great day battling the cold, the skiing was good and the avalanche conditions were bad but we stayed to the trees and made the best of this cold day.

Heli-Skiing Anyone?
170,000 vertical feet of pure powder!
I had my practicum for heli-skiing and believe it or not I actually learned lots and had some great skiing!
Check out the video, I was skiing with some fellows from Slovakia and after this they called me "Jumping Jeff"!
Many great stories about the trip, but the pictures say much more than my sh****y writing!
